Our church was buzzing with children of all ages enjoying Vacation Bible School. The theme this year had our children and leaders saying, "God is good!" They learned that even when they are sad, or life seems unfair, or they go through changes, God is always there for them, loving them and providing for what they need.

A highlight of the week was the Bible Quest station where Lynne Walker and her youth helpers led the children through experiencing the Bible stories each day. The children got to shout, "Let my people go!" to Pharoah; follow Moses through the wilderness to the Promised Land; and reflect upon Jesus dying for our sins.

God certainly has been good to us this week in bringing together so many adults, youth, children, and families to participate and make this week of growing in God an amazing experience. A refrain that parents have been saying is that their children are having such a great time: "They are singing songs at home and they are excited to come back each day."

To God be the glory for the great things He is doing among us and through us!
