Parish Academy

THE ACADEMY EXPERIENCE

The purpose of the Academy is to provide a comprehensive Christian education in a parish setting that will equip adults to function successfully in their ministries.

The Academy includes courses in the fall and winter semesters. When a person successfully completes all the courses of instruction in one School, they graduate at a Sunday service and receive a diploma. If they desire to teach in the parish, they also receive certification as an instructor.
These students often become Sunday adult class teachers.

Students successfully complete Old Testament and New Testament courses before taking other courses in the Schools. All Saints' Sunday adult bible class is taught by those who have completed Old and New Testament in the Academy or at a recognized school, college, or university.

Students are often asked to purchase a book(s), workbook, or both for the classes and some classes require a final paper or practical exercise.
