Occasional Services, Book of:
A book containing optional services and prayers authorized for use by the Episcopal Church.
Oil Stock:
A special container designed to hold holy oil, normally used in healing and baptism. They are made of metal and lamb's wool is placed inside them to suspend the oil. Cotton is not traditionally used, as it 'break's down' with use. See 'Holy Oil'.
Ordinal:
That part of the BCP, pages 509-579, which consists of services conducted by a bishop.
