Mace:
A staff or baton usually embellished with metal used as an insignia of office. It is sometimes carried by a verger during a procession.
Missal: That part of the BCP on pages 157-409, which is used in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The book of the altar (altar book) during the Holy Communion is a missal. Its name comes from the Latin, liber missalis or Mass book. It is also called the sacramentary.
Missal Stand: The stand (or, in some places, a pillow) upon which the Altar Service Book (Missal) rests when in use at the altar.
Monstrance: Used in some 'high' Episcopal churches; a special container in the shape of a cross with a circular, clear glass receptacle in its center, designed to hold a consecrated priest's (large) host that is exposed for adoration of the real presence of Christ.
